Liturgical Choir

St. Robert starts their day off with the beautiful voices of the students from the
Liturgical Choir. Every morning, one or two brave students from the choir sing the national anthem on the P.A. “I think it’s nice that we get to hear people who are a part of our school.” Joanna, a grade 10 student says as she has still yet to sing the anthem. “I think it’s a great idea because the national anthem becomes quite dull for students because they hear it day in and day out, but by putting students behind the mic (sic) it gives the song a new flavour based on the |
performing student's interpretation,” says Massimo, grade 10 who has already sung for us. It seems that the few students interviewed about this topic enjoy listening to the anthem and look forward to hearing the students’ outstanding voices every morning. It is far more interesting to listen to the anthem when the students know one of their friends is singing it. Mr. Chan is a great teacher and encourages his students to sing for our amazing school.
